Gossip Girl Tour – NYC

If you are a Gossip Girl fan, carry on reading for my review on the Tour whilst visiting New York (If not, you may also be interested in this as I dragged my Dad on it and he said he quite enjoyed it!)I’m currently sitting in bed in our Airbnb New York apartment. Screen Shot 2015-02-19 at 16.50.40Don’t judge, I have been exploring everything (name it and I would have done it in the 4 days i’m here) New York has to offer, however the temperatures of -20 and snow blizzards have took their toll and forced us to retreat home early. So, here’s a little post on what I did today…

Below I have put together a DIY Tour guide where YOU can leisurely visit your desired locations, might that be Henri Bendel or the Empire Hotel, without having to pay the extra cost of being shown round on a bus…

In my opinion, paying the extra cost was definitely worth it as the tour was really well organised. For example, during the transfer from one location to the other, clips from the Gossip Girl episodes were played to entertain us and also to familiarise us with the events that took place at the previous location we had just visited. The tour also included visits to other locations such as Blair and Nate’s Apartment, which was odd to see as I weirdly had flashbacks of Chuck spying on Blair either in a limo or behind a tree awaiting Blair’s appearance. The tour lasted 3 hours, which went very quickly unsurprisingly!

Even when I didn’t think it could get any better, the tour guide, Maddy, offered us a complimentary macaroon, a 10% voucher for Dylan’s Candy Shop (which we took full advantage of when visiting) and a 20% voucher when you purchase any item worth $250 or more in any New York Michael Kors store (making the thought of a new bag even more tempting)!

If any of my readers are lucky enough to visit New York, its well-worth setting a morning or afternoon aside to experience the ‘Upper-East Side Life’, and let me know in the comments if the Gossip Girl Tour has now been added to your Bucket List thanks to my review…
