So refreshing, so easy – this recipe is one in a melon.
You’ll have finished this quicker than you can sing “I’ve been drinking watermelon“.
Ingredients: (serves 4 glasses)
1 large watermelon
- Slice your melon in half and scoop out the watermelon into a large bowl. Preferably choose a seedless melon but picking out the seeds works just as well.
- Squeeze the juice of one lime into the bowl. If you would rather it be sweeter then add your desired amount of sugar to the bowl as well – and add to a blender and blend until there are no large lumps of melon.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-proof dish and pop in the freezer for around 2-3 hours. Once frozen, use a fork to break up the mixture then re-freeze and re-scrape again until you achieve your desired granita – and you’re done!
