Haven’t you heard? Deliciously Ella is also Beautifully Ella.
The vegan guru, Ella Mills, has collaborated with Neal’s Yard Remedies to create her new super-food for the face and body beauty products.
Ella obviously knows her stuff when it comes to healthy eating, so why shouldn’t she try her hand at healthy beauty products? I guess there’s not much difference in what you put in your body to what you put on your body, so I was fully on board to try any chia-seed face mask or avocado eye-brow tinter….
… Don’t worry, you won’t be smothering your face in green-juices anytime soon. The range includes everyday products you can easily add into your daily routine, and I’m a self-confessed beauty not-know-it-all. I don’t have a clue when it comes to cleansing, toning, moisturising… all that malarky.
But it’s about time I got into the routine of looking after my skin, and I felt a good face wash was the best place to start.
The range launched in Summer, but I wanted to give you my thoughts on the face wash after using it for a few months. As I said before, I’m really not the most experienced when it comes to trying and testing beauty products, but in my honest opinion the face wash was really gentle and didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped of its natural oils. The scent is also a huge thumbs up from me – floral rose, zesty lemon and refreshing cucumber. The perfect combo when needing a bit of a refresh after a day of wearing makeup. It’s also a winner because I’ve been using it nightly since late August and I’m not through the bottle – I’ll definitely be re-purchasing. I take my makeup off, wet my face and then massage in just one pump of the wash, then rinse off. I did find my face felt slightly dry after, but give it 10 minutes and your skin feels clean as a cucumber – and smelling like one too.
