Look stylish whatever the weather, come rain or shine.
We are well and truly in festival season in the UK, which means you need to prepare for all types of weather (most likely rain and mud). This SS17, especially festival trends, have been taking a more practical side – which is a first! Forget messy glitter and cold crochet pieces, because thanks to the trusty rain mac and dozens of colourful designs practicality never looked so good.
‘Practical’ usually means ‘boring’, and that’s why adding reflective accents of blue and green (like pictured above) really make this outfit fun and festival-worthy. This rain mac is from Bershka and ASOS also do really funky prints and colours.
But my favourite part of this outfit, which really hasn’t had any mention yet, are these clear-frame blue reflective lens sunglasses with gold arms. Yes, I am a self-confessed sunglasses addict, and these tick all the boxes. They’ve what I’ve been grabbing for most this summer, and they will definitely be my go-to festival sunnies. Even better, the blue lens actually has a rosey pink tint – talk about seeing life through rose tinted glasses. I also find the shape really suits any face, which is a huge plus for me because I don’t suit many styles of sunglasses. If you’re like me and you’ve always wanted a pair those Rayban Circle sunglasses but you somewhat resemble 70s John Lennon, then this slightly cat-eyed circle shape will suit you perfectly. I’ll stop teasing now and tell you where you can get your hands on these beauties…
