I say “Oui!” to these wondrous hair products.
Apart from the lovely packaging, what really caught my interest was that Ouai is a brand that has been curated by Jen Atkin – the hair stylist for Gigi, the Kardashians… need I go on? Basically, Atkin knows how to get voluminous healthy-looking hair. Fact.
When launching her brand, she gathered comments about hair product needs and desires from everyone from her blog readers to her clients. So I knew her products could actually give me the desired hair I’ve been wanting.
I was running on short supply of my Caudalie Divine Oil, which did do wonders to my hair, but I wanted to try something different. With hair oils, I tend to only use a tiny amount as to not over-whelm my hair, and I find the best results when I run it through damp hair. I always air-dry my hair, so instead of having a knotty mess on my head, the hair oil smooths and straightens it, giving a similar effect to using a hair dryer.
My hair can look quite drab and lifeless sometimes. I’ve tried and tested countless wave sprays – some being too drying, making my hair into a knotted bird’s nest, and some just dousing my hair in greasy oil. This wave spray, however, naturally separates your locks, creating that gorgeous sea-swept look. Tip: make sure to really scrunch the product into your hair, and focus on the ends of your hair.
